Specifications
DMX512
Communication standard DMX512 was developed specially for lighting systems in 1986. Up to 32 DMX devices can be daisy-chained and controlled via a control source (e.g. a light mixer).
Environment-friendly
The high energy efficiency, the long service life of the LED lamps and the low level of heat dissipation make this device particularly environment-friendly.
LED technology
LEDs are ideal for use in lighting systems: They are bright and have a low level of heat dissipation, a long operating life and low energy consumption. Moreover, LED systems often weigh less than conventional lighting systems.
Master & slave
Master/slave operation allows identical DMX devices to be controlled by a DMX device of the same model and software standard. All the devices are connected by DMX cables in series. The master device is then set to run in standalone mode and the slave devices are set to run in slave mode.
Quad colour RGBA/RGBW LEDs
Quad colour LEDs, also referred to as 4-in-1 LEDs, offer RGB colours but also an additional amber-coloured emitter for richer colours and an additional white emitter for improved contrast and greater definition.
RGB additive colour system plus white LEDs
Additional white LEDs create more contrast and clearer colour boundaries. What is more, they improve the creation of white and pastel colours.
Music control
In music control mode, the device is controlled via the built-in microphone and can follow the rhythm of the music, for example.
Standalone mode
In standalone mode, the device functions are controlled via integrated programmes, so no light mixer or “master” controller is required.
Strobe
Strobes emit fast flash sequences, which makes movements appear “frozen” and creates a kind of slow-motion effect.
Single pixel control
This device has an individual pixel control function. Since the colour and brightness of each LED pixel can be individually controlled (“Single Pixel Control”), the device can be used to generate animated graphic patterns and pixel mapping effects.
RDM
This device has full RDM capability. The RDM protocol supplements the DMX protocol and enables bidirectional communication via a standard DMX network. It simplifies configuration, administration and monitoring of RDM devices connected to an RDM controller.
Unlimited rotation
This moving head is fitted with two powerful, fast motors for endless horizontal and vertical rotation (pan and tilt).
Description
The Cameo AURO® BEAM 150 is an ultra-fast moving head with unlimited pan and tilt movement, 16-bit resolution and a 3,600 Hz refresh rate. Seven 15 Watt Quad LEDs produce rich RGBW colours, fresh pastel colours and vibrant shades of white with a 12° beam angle and a light intensity of 50,000 lux; Single Pixel Control ensures impressive pixel mapping effects.
The professional features of the AURO® BEAM 150 include a low-noise temperature controlled fan, powerCON mains connectors by Neutrik and 3 and 5-pin inputs and outputs for the DMX signal. It can be operated fully automatically with programmable scenes or music, or used in standalone, master or slave mode; when using DMX, 5-channel, 11-channel, 19-channel and 41-channel control modes are available, with options that include dimmer and strobe functions.
The rugged black metal and ABS housing of the Cameo AURO® BEAM 150 has 6 buttons and a backlit display for easy operation. The moving head can be used with all mains voltages from 100 to 240 volts and comes with a power cable and an Omega mounting bracket.
